Gentle Aerials

Gentle Aerials is an introductory level class designed for anyone who is interested in starting an aerial practice, and who knows they would like to ease into it carefully and at the pace appropriate to them. This class will introduce students to the four aerial apparatuses taught at SHOW—static trapeze, silks, lyra (aerial hoop), and sling—in a manner tailored to the students in the class. Your coach will provide multiple supports and pathways to help you find success on the apparatuses, and will ensure that you do so in a way that feels safe for you. Whether you have physical considerations such as a perceived lack of flexibility or strength, emotional considerations such as a fear of going upside down, or you think you’re “too old” (no one is too old for circus), you are welcome in this class just as you are!

For people looking to learn something new and exciting, circus is a non-competitive, artistic, fun and safe discipline. All classes at SHOW focus on vocabulary retention, interpersonal life skills, and having fun in a safe environment. Circus is a great way to increase self-esteem, have fun, get in shape, improve focus and learn skills that will translate into every aspect of your life. Circus for Fun, Circus for Life.
